THE Island Muslim Community (IMC), Lekki, Lagos, has congratulated its Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), Alhaji Rafiu Adisa Ebiti, on his appointment as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Crescent University.
In a congratulatory letter, the community described the appointment as well-deserved and a reflection of Ebiti’s unwavering commitment to education, exemplary leadership, and enduring service to humanity.
The letter noted that his passion for advancing educational opportunities, especially through support for indigent students, widows, and the less privileged via the Ibeji Foundation, highlights his strong sense of responsibility to society.
IMC also commended his respected position within the Muslim community in Southwestern Nigeria, describing him as a man known for integrity, humility, and dedication to the upliftment of others.
According to the community, these qualities make him uniquely suited for the leadership role at the university.
“We are confident that under your leadership, Crescent University will continue to flourish as a centre of academic excellence, moral discipline, and community impact,” the letter stated.
The organisation further prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, strength, and good health for Ebiti as he assumes the new responsibility, expressing hope that his tenure would usher in remarkable progress and lasting positive transformation for the university and beyond.
