Since he was elected a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the First Term to represent the people of Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on the Navy and the Vice Chairman, National Identity Management and Population has:
1) Floated a Zero Interest Micro Credit revolving loan empowerment Scheme for petty traders in the Senatorial District.
2) Sponsored Free Eye Care program for thousands of people in the Senatorial District.
3) Facilitated a Rice Value Chain Training program for Rice Farmers in Remo.
4) Facilitated the distribution of Fertilisers to farmers in the district.
5) Facilitated a Women-In-Agriculture Training program for Ijebu Ode women under the SMEDAN.
6) Facilitated the Renovation of a block of four Classrooms with Office finally completed and delivered at Omu-Ajose Comprehensive High School, Omu Ijebu, Ogun State (Status: Completed)
7) Facilitated the inspection visits of officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to Victims and areas of flood disasters in Ogun East Senatorial District and the approval of relief materials to victims.
8) Facilitated the Construction of Perimeter Fencing of Otunba Gbenga Daniel Nursery and Basic School and Gated (Status: Completed)
9) Facilitated the sinking of Boreholes in Ijebu Ode and Ago Iwoye
10) Facilitation of employments for over 2,000 Ogun East Senatorial youth into the Federal Civil Service.
11) Facilitated the take-off of the Nigerian Naval Base at Abigi in Ogun Waterside Local Government, with a budgetary allocation in the 2024 budget for construction works.
