Alhaji Balarabe Musa, a Former Second Republic Governor of old Kaduna State, has died, NewsArena understands. This was made known in a post on Twitter by Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central constituency in the National Assembly. Musa’s daughter also confirmed that the former governor elected on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) died on Wednesday morning. According to her, he will be buried later in the afternoon. NewsArena reports that Balarabe Musa held office from October 1979 until he was impeached on 23 June 1981. During the Nigerian Fourth Republic, he was the leader of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), a coalition of opposition parties.
